Daisy Roots are children's shoes, hand made in the United Kingdom from chrome-free leather, and recommended by the Child Growth Foundation.

Daisy Roots have a unique elasticated ankle system, so no laces or velcro to undo. The non-slip suede sole is ideal for babies and toddlers, and the soft breathable leather encourages healthy feet.

The leather used to make Daisy Roots is tanned with vegetable extracts rather than chromates, which means that the leather is biodegradable and more environmentally friendly as the vegetable tanning process will not result in heavy metal bi-products. Using chrome-free leather also means that your baby will not ingest chromium residue if they suck on their Daisy Roots, nor will they absorb the compounds through their skin.
