The Kari-me is a wrap around baby sling made of 90% cotton and 10% lycra - this makes it soft and stretchy, so it's ideal to use when carrying your newborn baby, although you can continue carrying your child with a Kari-Me until they weigh around 15kg. The tapering ends make tying the Kari-Me easy, and one size fits all so the Kari-Me will perfectly fit all the people who carry your baby.

The same basic tying method is used for all 5 of the carrying positions you can use with the Kari-Me - cuddly, tummy-to-tummy, facing the world, hip carry, and on the back. Because of the stretch in the fabric, you need to tie it on quite tightly before putting your baby in the Kari-Me. This then gives a snug supportive hold for your baby, and a comfortable carry for you.
